Why a tool?

When we are lucky enough to get a model with very good explanations, all is fine! But here are some cases when it's more difficult:

When you can see only an image of the model, sometimes without the beginning and the end of the bracelet.
When you wish to design new models yourself.
When you wish to know more precisely the thread size, in order to save cotton materials.
When you wish to try, on a given model, various colour combination.

When the above cases occurred, I used to draw on paper with colour pencils. But it was long and not very precise.

Then on computer, I tried tools for drawing. But again it was not suitable, and I've wasted a long time in alignment, and other problems...

So finally I thought it would be nice to just describe for each thread its colour, and for each node of the bracelet whether the node is a right-node, or a left-node, ... And then let the tool draw the bracelet.

To do it, I simply customised an XML editor . And this is the result that you can download.
